Thank you so much for being a part of TEDxUCCI: Spark! Our third annual event saw over 75 participants coming together to hear from ten speakers, each one bringing a different element to the event. We scored high marks, with people saying they will attend future stagings and recommend TEDxUCCI to others!
A huge thank you to our speakers for sharing your spark and pushing others to make a difference in the world. They discussed everything from the importance of culture to the impact of literacy, from the role of the performing arts to personal journeys of self-discovery and fulfillment.

To our attendees, thank you for being a wonderful audience and actively participating in our various activities such as creating external representations of your inner spark as well as the science experiment.

To our volunteers (students, faculty and staff, alumni and members of the general public), thanks for logging in countless hours in ensuring that everyone goes home with a great TEDxUCCI experience.

To our
sponsors, TEDxUCCI would not be a reality if it were not for your support. It’s amazing how these diverse organizations have rallied around our efforts to being a real TED-like experience to the Cayman Islands!
TEDxUCCI events provide a platform for getting Caymanian and Caribbean points of view exposure on a global stage. Most of the speakers at the TED Conference actually are drawn from the best presentations at TEDx events. Each of our talks is reviewed by the TED organization as a possible future presenter on the main stage at a future TED Conference. They are also archived on the
TEDx YouTube channel for all the world to see.
We will be informing you once the talks become available online.
In the meantime, please take the time to view our event photos on
Flickr.
Anyone interested in presenting a talk at a future TEDxUCCI event should send us an
e-mail asking to be notified when the next application window becomes available. Please also check our
website for updates.
We look forward to having you at our next TEDxUCCI event.
